How will my artwork be shipped?

Your artwork purchases are shipped in packaging that is specially designed for art shipments. Our main shipper is City Post Express, based in New York with extensive operations on both sides of the Atlantic. City Post Express can be contacted on (718) 995-8690.

How soon will my artwork be shipped?

Artwork is shipped directly from the artist's studio; Irish Art Bank does not maintain a warehoused inventory from which to fill orders. We will contact you via e-mail within 48 hours of your order to tell you the date on which your purchase will be shipped and the date it should be delivered.

How long will it take to arrive?

Your purchase is shipped to you directly from the artist who takes care of packaging, crating, and getting your artwork on its way. Once a piece of art leaves its point of origin, you may expect delivery within a few days. Oversized or extremely fragile pieces, however, may require the services of a shipping company that specializes in fine art handling, which may delay delivery. In some rare cases, artwork may not be available for shipment for 4-8 weeks because it is part of a continuing exhibition or portfolio presentation. (If such a delay is anticipated, you will be notified prior to making your purchase.)

What if my artwork arrives damaged?

If upon opening the package you discover that the artwork is damaged, contact us via email and a customer care representative will guide you through your options. These include replacing the damaged work, selecting a credit toward another purchase, or receiving a full refund.

Can my artwork be shipped abroad?

Yes, we can ship artwork any place in the world served by a major freight carrier. We will advise you of these costs during the purchasing process. Additional charges such as import taxes and tariffs may apply when shipping to some countries, and these will be added to your total cost.
